Follow us as we build from scratch three double wardrobes to use that space where is not fully utilised in many bedrooms. Here we have designed three double wardrobes to completely use up the dead space along one wall of the bedroom. It is always our aim when designing projects for our customers to ensure we make the best use of the available space. Not only does the end result need to look beautiful but it must be functional as well.
These three double wardrobes will incorporate both shelving and hanging space. The build process is simple and straightforward and is completed with the minimum of fuss and mess. We start by laying down a series of dust sheets throughout the house up to the bedroom in question. Once we had done that element of protection, we then brought up all the materials and tools into the bedroom we were working in.
To start the project, we commenced by building the first of the three double wardrobe. First, we built the carcass. Then we put the internals into place, which was the two top shelves. Now that the first wardrobe was built, we then moved it into position and got the wardrobe level before we then fixed this wardrobe to the wall.
Following that we built the other two double wardrobe which were the same as the first wardrobe. Once these two double wardrobes were fully erected, we then moved them into place. It was then essential that we got them all level and fixed into each other as well as fixed onto the wall.

Three Double Wardrobes Finished!
Now that we had all three wardrobes securely fixed in place against the wall, we were then in a position to measure up for all the infills. Once we had cut them down to the correct size and fixed them into place, we were then able to hang all the six doors onto the three double wardrobes. The next job in the sequence was to fix the handles into the correct place.
Now with the build of the three double wardrobes was completed we cleaned up any mess we had made and then sealed up all the edges with white caulk. Now with the job being fully completed we then showed the customer their new three double wardrobes and with them being incredibly happy we headed home.
